Hunger is a silent plague that affects over 49 million people in this country. Feeding America’s mission is not only to expose and bring awareness to this problem, but to help solve it. It was my pleasure and privilage to work with this nonprofit organization on a variety of print and digital collateral materials to support food banks across the nation in their effort to fight hunger.

Numbers and statistics are often used to tell compelling stories that move people to action. In this video, the goal was to promote a new interactive map that showed hunger data at the county level across the US. What better way to highlight the tool’s strength than to show the shocking number of food insecure children in individual states? The graphics were deliberately simple, and the voice and music carefully selected, to deliver a powerful and important message of action and hope.
